How Do I Obtain Medical Marijuana?

 

Medical marijuana in California can be obtained in three steps:

1-By visiting a licensed physician and obtaining a recommendation for the use of medical marijuana.

2-Bring this recommendation along with a valid form of identification to a medical dispensary.

3-Purchase your medical marijuana.

Some dispensaries in California require you to also have “patient id” cards which you can get at patient id centers, for a small processing fee. These cards are a very handy and secure way for dispensaries and patients to keep track of medical information. Check with your local dispensary for more info.

Please Remember that each state and county in the USA has different laws about medical marijuana and you need to check your local state and county laws reguarding this issue. Currently as of July 2009, in the State of California it is possible to obtain a recommendation for medical marijuana from a licensed physician.
